OT. Reg. (Ont.) OT Psychotherapist

I believe that life is both beautiful and difficult and, as such, there are times that we all need a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, learn, adapt, and grow. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, emotional dysregulation, major life changes, caregiving responsibilities, grief, or a general sense of feeling stuck. Wherever you are on your path, I will meet you there with compassion, curiosity, and a belief in your capacity to move forward.

Throughout my career as an occupational therapist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals living with traumatic brain injuries, trauma-related conditions, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and orthopedic and neurological disorders. I’ve always believed that emotional and physical health are deeply connected, and that true healing requires attention to both. My focus has consistently been to help clients improve their function in ways that are personally meaningful to them, while also tending to the emotional layers that often accompany illness, injury, or life transitions.

My personal experiences have shaped my deep commitment to walk alongside others in their health journeys. I’ve been honoured to help patients through some of life’s most challenging medical and emotional moments by helping them process their pain, adjust to profound change and, at times, find peace in the face of life’s final transitions. This work has included advocating within our complex medical system, offering strategies to maintain independence and age in place, and helping families to be present with their loved ones in meaningful ways.

Through gentle support, I’ve helped individuals and their families uncover their strength, make sense of overwhelming experiences, and find moments of connection and meaning in the midst of deep pain. These experiences have profoundly informed how I show up with compassion and respect for each person’s unique path.

In my practice, I offer space for deep emotional exploration and healing, while also recognizing that sometimes what’s needed to move forward is a practical next step. My approach combines reflection and strategy so that clients feel both supported and empowered in their daily lives. I draw from a wide range of occupational therapy and psychotherapy modalities, depending on what best supports each person. Whether we are addressing trauma, mood, nervous system dysregulation, life transitions, or chronic illness, I tailor my approach to meet the person where they are. Of all the tools I can bring forward, I consider the therapeutic relationship to be one of the most powerful agents for healing and transformation.

Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband and our four children. I find joy in exploring new places, walking our golden retriever Finn (though he often walks me), playing pickleball, getting lost in a good book, and being near water whenever I can.
