MSc. OT. Reg. (Ont.)

OT Psychotherapist

In my mid-20s, I discovered the transformative power of yoga, which marked the beginning of my healing journey. Embracing both movement and meditation, I experienced profound shifts that reshaped my life.

Drawing from my personal experiences, as an Occupational Therapist Psychotherapist, I adopt a collaborative approach rooted in evidence-based care. I am equipped to support individuals working through trauma, PTSD, OCD, BFRBs, and depression. Additionally, I have a special interest in helping people navigate the complexities of shame, grief, and life transitions.

Together, we uncover habitual patterns and tackle the challenges that hold clients back. Clients learn to cultivate a kinder conversation with themselves. This opens pathways to new and healthier ways of being, aligning them with the values and desires of their true, authentic selves.

I am committed to meeting people exactly where they are in their lives, accompanying them for a time on their journey. I believe in the potential for transformation in a short period and hold firm in the belief that everyone has the innate ability to heal and find answers within. All it takes is giving ourselves the chance and permission to start a new dialogue.

In my professional practice, I specialize in various therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Interpersonal Therapy for depression. I also employ compassionate inquiry methods, mindfulness, and self-compassion strategies.

Outside of work, I immerse myself in nature through hiking, biking, canoeing, and gardening.
